Only local materials have been used for the construction of the house, and special attention has been paid to sustainability and eco-friendliness. The land around the house is fully fenced and the garden has recently been cleared of shruds, weeds, etc. The soil consists mainly of red clay. The many trees are coark oaks, olive trees, strawberry trees, fig trees, holm oaks and carob trees, all well taken care of.
